Rumi's Field

SCROLL DOWN

Rumi's Field

Rumi's Field is a weekly gathering of like-hearted souls.

Rumi's Field happens most Saturday mornings. The next will be Saturday 10/12. We gather at 10:45 and begin promptly at 11:00. We share until 12:30, and then people can stay and connect personally with each other.

We start with a reminder of why we are gathered and a meditation of peace and intention. Then it's open to all to share their experience, whether that is a moment of awakening or a challenge that is present. We can simply share, or share and invite reflection from others in service. Or we can simply be there and soak it all in.

Bring a chair, some water, and something to place in the middle of the circle to represent Rumi's Field: a blade of grass, a flower, leaves, or your light.

Our Premise

Our Premise

1

The universe expanded from one thing.

2

Therefore, everything in the universe must be a form of that one thing.

3

That includes each of us, and every form, alive and not alive.

4

The mind being a limited one of those forms, it’s impossible for it to fully comprehend or describe the totality of that one thing in concepts or words.

5

Given that, we’ll agree just for today that the closest word we have is Love.

6

And so each of us, and everything around us, is Love taking different forms.

7

In the process of taking a form and having an experience, Love can forget that it and all the forms around it are still Love.

8

We, as Love, have taken all these forms together so that in those times of forgetting, we can come together and reflect back to each other the truth of what we really are.

9

We are the one thing.
We are Love.
